Introduction of Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana Department – Janseva Hospital
The Rasa Shastra & Bhaishajya Kalpana Department focuses on Ayurvedic pharmaceutics and the preparation of medicines using herbs, minerals, and metals. Students learn classical methods of Shodhana, Marana, Bhasma Nirmana, and formulation techniques for Avaleha, Churna, Taila, Ghrita, Vati, and various other dosage forms.
The department offers hands-on training in:
- Purification and processing of raw materials
- Preparation of traditional and herbo-mineral medicines
- Understanding the safety, potency, and shelf-life of formulations
- Practical demonstrations and laboratory-based learning
Our aim is to train students in scientifically sound and traditionally authentic Ayurvedic drug manufacturing practices.
