The Bachelor of Ayurveda Medical and Surgery (BAMS) is an undergraduate degree course that provides integrated education covering a wide range of topics in both the ancient Ayurvedic and contemporary medical systems. Candidates can enroll in this course after completing their higher secondary school in the science stream. In this course, students study several Ayurvedic subjects, medical procedures, and other topics.

Candidates who wish to appear for the BAMS exam must ensure that they meet the BAMS eligibility criteria, which include age limit and educational qualification. The BAMS eligibility criteria are as follows:

  • The candidate must have completed their class 12 from a recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English Core as main subjects.
  • General category candidates should have an aggregate of 50%, while SC/ST/OBC candidates should have secured a minimum of 40%.
  • Candidates must have qualified NEET by obtaining minimum marks to secure admission to BAMS.
